Ampersand Distilling Co. is a family-founded craft distillery in the Cowichan Valley, established in 2014 and using custom-built stills, BC-grown wheat, organic and wild-harvested botanicals, and spring water from the property. It makes Per Se Vodka, Ampersand Gin, barrel-aged gin and Nocino walnut liqueur, earning awards including World's Best Varietal Vodka and Canada's Best Classic Gin. Its tasting room is open by appointment with tours, and it pours at the Saturday Duncan Farmers' Market.
