Vancouver Island Feast of Fields

Vancouver Island's Feast of Fields is a wandering harvest celebration that brings together the region's farmers, chefs, bakers, vintners and brewers for one long afternoon in a working farm field. The 25th annual edition takes place on Sunday, August 30, 2026, at Heritage Acres in Saanichton, hosted by the charitable organization FarmFolk CityFolk. Guests receive a wine glass and a linen napkin at the gate, then roam the grounds at their own pace, stopping at dozens of stations where Island culinary talents serve small, seasonal dishes made from local ingredients alongside pours of BC wine, cider and craft beer. The event is designed to showcase the direct connection between the people who grow food on Vancouver Island and the people who cook it, with proceeds supporting FarmFolk CityFolk's work on sustainable local agriculture.
