About this event

Tla-o-qui-aht Days, also known as TFN Days, is an annual community celebration hosted by the Tla-o-qui-aht First Nation in the Tofino area. Held over several days in mid-August, the gathering welcomes members, neighbours and visitors to share in the culture, food and hospitality of the Tla-o-qui-aht people, on whose traditional territory the modern District of Tofino sits. Programming typically includes an artisan and craft market with local vendors, traditional foods, live entertainment, and family-friendly activities that highlight Nuu-chah-nulth heritage and community connection. The event is organized by the Tla-o-qui-aht First Nation, with vendor registration opening in the weeks beforehand. It is one of the signature summer gatherings on the west coast of Vancouver Island and offers a warm, welcoming way to learn about the living culture of the region while enjoying the height of the Tofino summer season. Admission is generally free and open to the public, making it accessible for families and travellers alike. Visitors are encouraged to attend respectfully, support Indigenous artisans and vendors, and experience an authentic celebration rooted in place. Check the Tourism Tofino and Tla-o-qui-aht First Nation channels closer to the dates for the finalized daily schedule.
